The main processor/bootloader is in charge of the OSX GUI and pretty much everything else the iPhone does.
exactly. The baseband one is the 3.9/4.6BLs. Apple hasn't updated iBoot yet, and o dont think they will. In fact, i dont think they can as a standard restore/upgrade is in the normal recovery mode which is opened with iBoot. And if iBoot is running during an upgrade, it can't be reflashed. (as far as i know)

when I switch from 3.9 to 4.6 it gives me error 3328
I must be doing something wrong. I want to switch back to 4.6 then go to 3.9fb or switch from 3.9 to just fb?

also what does Neuter do? or unlock? im trying to understand )

the error didnt effect the change...
I am now on 4.6 M3S2 which I believe is the original.

So now how do I go to 3.9 FB? do I switch fb on and switch to 3.9?
I ask because I know it is dangerous to over flash your iphone and I dont need a damaged phone. I want to return it is possible for the 16gig since I got mine 1 week before it came out.

Much appreciate the help and support here
    thank you

As far as I know, Bootneuter does have the option to load 3.9 FBL. But why would you want to? Leave it at 4.6 if that is the original BL the phone had when you bought it. The dev teams wiki site http://wikee.iphwn.org/sgold_bootrom:bootneuter explains it clearly. It says that the 3.9FBL is for developers only...anyway check it out for details.
