I don't use Linux, but Kudos for taking the initiative to port/code pwnage for Linux plateform. Good luck.

Someone needs to make a GUI for this. This is PERFECT for all of the linux users, it would be good for noobs too. Just because someone is running kinux doesnt mean they know command line stuff. You should definitely look into making a GUI. Or even get someon to do it, you can put them in your credits.

I've been thinking for some time about trying to make an entire UI set for linux to manage the iphone (using the iphone-convience package), and using a SWING front end. Maybe i'll have time soon since i'm all but finished with school for this semester. Who knows.

But Linux needs an entire iPhone Suite...

    No success for me

First tried to pwn with bootlogo and recovery logo. It ended with error on:

    ... Adding boot logos
    replacing Firmware/all_flash/all_flash.m68ap.production/applelogo.img2
    replacing Firmware/all_flash/all_flash.m68ap.production/recoverymode.img2
    error: allocate
    error: Resource temporarily unavailable
Then, i tried without logos, all went okay, the device booted, and it ended on:

    fairplay returned 0xffff5bdb
    NORIO returned 0xc2
    NOR flashing failed!
And it booted again. I guess it didn't pwn it then?

    iPhone: 1.1.4
xpwn for Linux, binary from today
    Ubuntu Linux 8.04
    `uname -r`: 2.6.24-17-generic

I've been doing some refactoring and may have inadvertently broken some stuff for some people. Thanks for the report. I'll try to look at it sometime within the next couple of days. Unfortunately, I'm busy settling into a new city and a new job.
