[Question] JB a factory unlocked iphone from Italy
..about 3G factory unlocked iphone (bought it in Italy). Is it safe to JB the phone if i updated it to 2.2 FW thru itunes update ( stupid of me). As far as i know its not advisible to jb it beacause of possibility of lockining it to local service provider ( T-com here in Croatia) Is that right? TIA!

You can always update/jailbreak the Italian ones. Will be unlocked forever. the only thing to keep in mind: If apple comes up with lets say firmware 2.3, you do an update/restore, the iPhone will still be unlocked but the jailbreak and apps installed via Cydia will be gone.
You'd have to wait then for an update of quickpwn for that new firmware.
see my signature, I got an int. unlocked iPhone (from Italy btw), jailbroken and with Cydia... at firmware 2.2
