[PwngeTool 2.2] Cydia crashing after update
I just used Pwnge Tool to update to 2.2 and Cydia opens up and when I pick graphical or hacker options it crashes and takes me back to the home screen. I can't install anything now. I've tried reinstalling my firmware but that didn't work. Any ideas?

I had the same problem as you did. I didn't reinstall firmware over but run quickpawn and that fixed cydia.Happy with 2.2 so far (no lagging issues).

yeah, sama here.
Tried twice, with no success. It looks like cydia from pwnagetool is a little buggy. Anyone tried to install any package while in pwnage tool?Cause I think this is the problem.
Also, does anyone knows where is the cydia bundle from quickpwn?Cause then we could replace the one in pwnage tool.

Same thing happened to me many many restores. Finally, I did a custom restore using expert mode in pwnage checking cydia and installer only and changing the partition size to 1047. Here is what made the difference: when checking cydia i did not include any other packages within it like ssl ssh etc. I downloaded those later on. All was ok and cydia did not crash upon launch.

Here's what worked for me:
I always had Cydia crash after PWNing (right after choosing "type of user"). This has been happening to me since Pwnage 2.0. So what I did was I left the phone alone for a good 10 minutes and it will suddenly reboot itself. After the reboot all the other apps I installed via Professional mode appeared, i.e. Terminal, Winterboard, etc.
Then I tapped Cydia and all went well!!!
Give it shot...if you have the 10 minutes to spare.
