[Pwned] Restoring iPhone ?

hello i need some help with my pwned iphone. my keyboard is messed up. its showing only half of it in landscape mode so i need to do a restore.

My iphone is pwned and its using a custom 1.1.4 firmware. its unlocked with BootNeuter.

Now im not sure how to restore my iphone. do i have to make a custom firmware with only the activate option when making a custom firmware because i already have it unlocked or i have to choose the unlocking options like enable baseband update, Neuter Bootloader, unlock basseband again.

So is it necessary for me to choose enable baseband update, Neuter Bootloader, unlock baseband when restoring again since i have already done these options when i restored my iphone when i pwned it and restored it with 1.1.4 custom firmware?

just put it in dfu mode and restore to a regular 1.1.4 to be safe and repwn, also how did you manage to mangle your keys?

so if i restore my iphone with a regualr 1.1.4 it will get unpwned and i have to repwn my iphone and make custom firmware, etc?

yep it will go back to normal, just check out the faq if you want more answers, also make sure you sue the right firmware, not tryying to be a smart ass but i have seen people use the wrong ones due to the fact that it is pwned it will take any old firmware and try and run with it

i installed HWpen and it modded the com.apple.SpringBoard.plist which is loacted in /System/Library/LaunchDaemons. the easy way is to replace to orignal file with the modded one and it will work without restoring but i forgot to back it up. I need someone to SSH their iphone and post the file up in ********** but no one want to do it lol.

It says you don't have to pwn your phone again if you use custom firmware.

But if you restore to normal apple firmware you have to re-pwn it.

In your case you messed up the keyboard by changing some settings so if I was you I would just restore to the custom firmware - there is no need to go back to standard as the thing you changed will be restored in the custom firmware.
