Ok, I had 2.1 going but it was messing up and slow so I wanted to redo it. I restored to 2.1 with itunes that worked fine. Got to the start up screen for emerg. calls. Had IMEI, etc. Then I created the custom file with the ownage tool. Went to DFU and restore and I get error 21 consistantly with all different usb ports. If its not error 21, its error 1600 in restore mode.

What do I do now?

try it again and when pwnagetool ask if ur iphone has been pwnaged before, click no and follow its instruction may be it's okie

Finally got it to go. Had to do simple install though.

Tried itunes uninstall and installed version 7.7.1 but nothing worked still so don't do that to anyone else with this prob. Updated to 8 and did simple pwnage and it worked. Ugghh. What a pain.

Can I upgrade my baseband to 4.6? Will this make my phone a lil faster?
