[PwnageTool] SSH on 2.0 ?

Hi all,

Finally an unlocked 2.0 with the help of the Pwnage Tool.

But I need to get my Notes and SMS back onto the Phone and need SSH to replace the db files.

Can anyone tell how to get SSH on a 2.0 ? Also Installer?

SSH should be installed and ready to use on a pwned Firmware image (2.0 only).

Well... if you pwn a 2.0 Beta firmware, PwnageTool will pre-install SSH for you. As soon as your phone is up and running 2.0, just connect to your phone via SSH (assuming that you're connected to Wi-Fi). The first login may take a while.

wait... what do u think of 2.0? i used it for less than an hour and had to downgrade .. its so laggy!

No, it's not. But on 1.1.4 you have Installer (-> easy SSH installation) and on 2.0 not.

Thanks. SSH worked after reboot but Auto-disconnects after a minute or so (AutoLock is off)

Anyways, the time is enough to get the db files onto the phone.

Hi,

I Pwned and unlocked my iPhone with FW 2.0. Now when I want to ssh it, i get the message

port 22: Connection refused

I installed OpenSSH via Cydia, rebooted, reinstaller OpenSSH, deinstalled it.. tried all combinations but I still get port 22: Connection refused

Any idea how to fix that?

Make Sure your WiFi Router or Computer's Firewall is not blocking access to the port #22.
