Where can i find the 2.0.1 restore update for ipod touch?

Just connect your ipod or iphone if you want that restore file and click on restore.

It will tell you to download the newest firmware and if you click to allow the download itunes will download it automatically and then pwnagetool can find it automatically when its downloaded.

Just remember to disconnect your ipod/iphone before the download finishes if you don't want to restore!

Quick question though, i have a friend who also wants to update. But he's on 1.1.1 and he wants to keep his contacts and stuff after updating.

Say I'm using my laptop (which i guess has MY iphone settins stored) to restore his iPhone. When i put it into DFU mode and restore through iTunes, does his contacts/music/notes/etc retain? Or will he be restoring to my iphone settings, since it's plugged into my iTunes?

Assuming that your friend has all his contacts/calendar/music/videos on his Mac/PC, do the following. Use your Mac to pwnage/restore his 1.1.1 iPhone. once done iTunes will ask to "restore from a backup". Dont choose this option, instead "setup as a new iPhone". When done your friend connects the iPhone to his PC/Mac, same question will pop up, same answer "setup as a new iPhone". Then he should sync as usual.
For him its important to setup as a new iPhone otherwise he would get back all the old 1.1.1 preferences, some may cause problems.

Sure, the iPhone will work but just having no data on it (no, music, calendar, addresses etc)

i just pwned my phone... the thing is that i am on tmobile and i dont see it working.... it doesnt show a carrier, i used quickpwn... also no sound... internet works though

anyadvice?

If you have iPhone 3G official unlocked or contract based then you had to NOT checked "Activate" box in Pwnage
If you have iPhone 3G locked then you can't see carrier
If you have iPhone 2G then after Pwnage's or QuickPwn's working you must see BootNeuter's flashing

ah, ok i have another question...

so if earlier my phone was 2.0.2, can i downgrade to 2.0.1 or do i need to download the 2.0.2 restore file and winpwn???
