I was having battery life issues also. I went into settings and turned off Push, and also set Fetch to Hourly, and switched my email account from manual to Fetch. So far I have had better battery life... haven't had to charge yet and it still shows full. It's been a few hours since I made the switch. I also turned off location services in General settings.. I figured the less things ON the longer the battery will last...

In the readme of Saurik (within cydia) it explains that OpenSSH can NOT be a problem, because unless you use it, it's NOT a separate process, only a switch/setting within the network process that's running anyway.
So, if you don't open a SSH session, this will never use any more battery...

I'm terrible at comparing battery performance but I don't see any significant difference at the moment.

Pwned at 1.1.4 and recovery moded to custom 2.0 using PwnageTool (Mac)

I am having the same issue, with a mac pwnage, deleted cydia, and still battery runs really fast, and maybe iphone feels a little warmer , could it be that there is a process making the iphone run continuously is there a way to check this?

I uninstalled SSH and decided to do a little testing by not allowing myself to play games for a couple of days.

So far, after 15 hours, the battery looks normal, maybe just a little worse than 1.1.4 but I was expecting that since I now use push emails.

I know that if I played games, I could drain the battery in a few hours.

I don't think that SSH had anything to do with it but I plan to reinstall it and test again.

My point is that don't be fast in blaiming pwn tool, 2.0 or SSH, I'm sure we're all excited in testing out 2.0 and the appstore and that could be the reason the battery drains out so fast.

Since some of you suggested that this may be a problem caused by WinPwn.

Does it worth trying to restore my phone using iTunes and pwn it through the Mac Pwnage Tool?

    I run a 1.1.4 winpwn'ed iphone.

I have a MAC in my house anyway. So i could if it would just work. Is that the right way to restore it?
