I've noticed my battery life is a lot worse after using Pwnage Tool (previously used ZiPhone).

All I've been doing today is texting (haven't made any calls or anything) and my battery is already under a half capacity. It's only been 8 hours since I took it off the charger too.

My iphone seems to have less battery life now (some weeks since i've pwned it)
but wheter is because of pwnage or just a battery thats reached its 400 charges...dunno

Is everyone so stupid? I really don't get it! SSH is not running as long as you don't have an active connection. See it yourself:
    In terminal type:
    # ps -A
Nowhere it says that the SSH Daemon is running, so it can't drain your battery? Why is everybody so stupid in saying it drains your battery, when it physically doesn't do it??

    hey, be nice.
No one is talking about SSH here. Read the thread ...
People asked questions, if you have the answer then say it, don't turn around and ask why they are stupid.

    Hello

    Did anybody try like this

Hold your power and home button for several second till the iPhone turn off automatically and then turn it back. I mean to say hard reset of iPhone. I got similer kind of problem before and after doing this it works fine.

By the I did not try the pwnag tools yet.

i suggest to lower your brightness and download BossPrefs (or BossTool i don't remember). Try to turn off Bluetooth (or ssh if you believe it eating your battery). Then don't bother to turn off Edge also. This way will save battery. Oh! try to reset your phone (reset network setting...). Hope this help.

I fully charge my phone and then disconnect it. I don't touch the phone for about 12hours and then it's down to 10-20%.

I have tried almost any of the unlock solutions over the months. Have two iPhons now pwnaged, carge intervall still the same and ok.
The only time when battery does not last too long with me is sometimes while travelling by train in Germany. Reason - I guess - is that my provider o2 DE is not covering all areas so the iphone on a trip almost every 20-30 minutes tries to find a carrier for a while. had the same with my Nokia before, so its not related to pwnage, not even to the iPhone but low or sometimes no coverage.

    just my 2 cent

    Default Clock speed downgrade?

The battery life got affected since 1.1.3 because the cpu clock was increased to 412mhz. If many of you were previously in 1.1.2 or lower and upgraded to 1.1.4 will see a battery decrease not necessarily related with the pwnage process.

If someone know how to downgrade the cpu speed i think it will be usefull to test the battery life..
