Pwnagetool 3.1.5 does not automatically find IPSW
I have been using Pwnage since it first came out and have never had this problem before. After I choose Expert Mode, check off iPhone 3G(s) and then click on Next, Pwnagetool just gets stuck in the automatically searching for IPSW screen. I left it there for over 30 minutes and it just keeps searching never even allowing me to manually browse for the file.
I downloaded Pwnagetool 3.1.5 from the official torrent twice as well as iPhone firmware iPhone1,2_3.1.3_7E18_Restore.ipsw twice with no success.
I moved the firmware file from the same folder as the Pwnagetool to my desktop and then to the downloads directory with no success.
I have a mid-2009 unibody MacBook running 10.6.2 which is fully updated.
Any help is appreciated.
Do you have any NTFS (windows formatted) disks mounted or any non mac disks mounted on your mac? There is a longstanding bug (believe it is actually Apple's bug) related to this.
