Hi,
Have you accidentally managed to find any solution to this problem? 'Cause I have the same issue.
By the way, the error message appearing just when Pwnagetool starts to create CFW is something about the program or the MAC OS?
I'am not very familiar with Mac, I use PC, my only chance to make CFW is the only one MAC at my workplace at Dept. IT. (so I have no time to sit for hours in front of it to find the solution. (Besides am not familiar with MAC OS..)
Any help would be very appreciated!
Thanks

Got it installed and working, great new features. Although I'm suffering with battery life, it's now much shorter than earlier. I have disabled the pushbutton notes, but it's still drained out in 4-5 hours of usage. I'm I able to downgrade the firewire?

Pwnagetool 3.0 Not creating CFW under Mac OSX 10.4.11
I need some quick help..
After updating iTunes8.2 and downloading Pwag 3.0, the process where the CFW is being created , I get booted out of the program.
I've tried everything I could think of, includinh making sure iTunes is authorized.
Any clues??
I'm trying to go from 2G 2.1 to 3.0
Thanks

pwnage tool 3.01 for PPC??
saw a comment on dev team that there was a pwnagetool 3.01 out to deal with the problem of crashing on PPC based macs. But no official site has it... but pirate bay does.... so I downloaded it, and it looks legit, and it successfully created a restore file for me, but I have afraid to use it. Anyone know about this update??
=======
EDIT
=======
So I went ahead and did the restore and it works fine. So for whatever reason Devteam is not listed it in the blog, it is listed in the official torrents list, and it does fix the problem.

Pwnage Tool 3.0.1 Released
Just learned that Pwnage Tool 3.0.1 is available. I downloaded it, but it doesn't recognizes 3.0.1 IPSW.
Any help? Comments?

The versions of pwnagetool and quickpwn and redsn0w are not always in line with the iPhone OS firmware versions they support.
pwnagetool 3.0.1 was a quick bug fix released way before Apple release iPhone OS 3.0.1
Because redsn0w supports iPhone OS 3.0.1 with a workaround, the dev team are prioritising their resources elsewhere for the moment. It is not guaranteed that a version of pwnagetool that supports 3.0.1 will be released before iPhone OS 3.1 comes out.
