UPDATE: PwnageTool 2.2.1 is released, this fixes the bug that is related to ‘Simple Mode’.

you need to change root partition size from 500mb to 1000mb

Question - does it make a difference whether I use the version I just made with the 1000mb root partition or can I use the 500mb version I successfully made on my older machine? I only have 8GB so saving an extra 500mb is useful if possible.

If you don't use Installer, you can remove it via PwnageTool and keep the partition at 500MB.

un dfu? meaning get out of dfu? you need to change back and forth between dfu and restore...error 1600 will be your best friend, or worst friend, during these times but changing back and forth will get you there.

Got it to work, but me radio is down... could go back to 2.2 non jailbroken, but jailbroken with 2.2 kills my gsm...
