Default PwnageTool 2.1 Stuck at Apple Logo

first of all, let me say i have jailbreaking many 2G's iphone and i have pretty good idea how are things done, especially, DFU mode cause i know some1 will ask that later on.

the problem, this is my first 3G iphone, i bought it jailbroken and had many stuff and apps i didn't like so i thought that's no problem, do a restore and jailbreak again.... WRONG

downloaded firmware "iPhone1,2_2.1_5F136_Restore" from iclarified, pwnagetool from there too. restored the i phone to original FW (no problems) the iphone was unjailbroken again. used pwnagetool to build custom FW (no problems). Used iTune to restore using the custom FW and it gave No problems (this is good, or is it?)

now the phone is stuck at the apple logo no wheel turning and nothing is happening i have Searched everywhere (i think) i found this problem with many other users but no solution so please let me know.

i am on MacOS 10.5.5 with i phone 3G 16GB (in case you want to know)

    Thank you

Can you get the iPhone in DFU mode again. Like shutting it down by holding Home and start/sleep until it goes off, then going into DFU? If so do it, restore to Apple Firmware 2.1 then and use quickpwn after that.

PwnageTool is the one if you want to customize the firmware file along with jailbreak, activation and unlock before applying it to the iPhone. Quickpwn pwnages an existing installation on the iPhone. In your case it will jailbreak the iPhone (no unlock yet) and allow the installation of Cydia and software via Cydia.

Well, both are working. But you can play with pwnagetool's settings to make it work better or the other way round.
Quickpwn is the fastet way for those having a 3G right now. I have used it for my int. unlocked 3G, wanted Cydia and apps from Cydia.

Great hearing that your iphone is jailbroken now.
