[PwnageTool 2.0] Upgrading/unlock to 2.0 from Ziphoned 1.1.4

I have an unlocked/jailbroken 1.14 iphone on Tmobile that was unlocked with Ziphone. I'd like to try the new 2.0 update (using Pwnage). Is there anything I should do before using pwnage since my phone was already unlocked with ZiPhone?

Restore my firmware to 1.14? Upgrade to 2.0 firmware before using pwnage?
Anything I should not do?

Or can i just plug in the phone and use Pwnage right away?

What i do..

iPohne 1.1.4 unlocked with ZiPhone

DFU Mode ---> 2.0 Custom firmware

Newer Before using PWNAGE - Working Great

But for some peoples it not working for strange reasons...
i recomend for you make 1.1.4 Custm firmware with PWNAGE tool 1.1 or if you are on Windows - take WinPWNAGE --> (Search Forums)

1. Backup Phone in iTunes (i mean contacts, calendars - etc...)
2. Use Your 1.1.4 Custm firmware and Restore iPhone in iTunes
3. When Restore Finishes, take 2.0 Custom Firmware and Restore Again

Nope dont have to do anything.... Just use pwnage 2.0 and follow the easy steps, it worked like a charm.. and yes i had the ziphone unlock and im so glad Im using pwnage now..

From all the bad stories i hear from ziphone.

I'm about to jump in and do it, but I was wondering if I upgrade and something doesn't work correctly can I downgrade back to 1.1.4?

I don't want to open another topic, so;
I have a 1.1.3 iPhone unlocked with ZiPhone...
Before using the PwnageTool to unlock the 2.0, should I upgrade to the official 2.0, or just run Pwnage from my 1.1.3 and restore to the custom 2.0?

Just follow these steps, http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1557 , very easy.. no need to upgrade first since the pwnage tool will make you the custom 2.0 firmware =)..

Just to add another one to the list

I was running Ziphone 1.14 on my my 1st Gen 8GB iPhone and went straight ahead with Pwnage 2.01 and so far it has worked like a dream jailbreaking, activating and unlocking my device on UK Vodafone

What a fantastic bit of software

If your on Windows and you're on 1.1.3, you need to get to 1.1.4 to use BootNeuter app. I used winPwn to pwn and update to 1.1.4 (clean firmware other than BootNeuter), then updated to custom 2.0 ipsw. Both updates done through normal recovery. Worked like a charm.

I'm on a mac, so I will just run PwnageTool and update straight to the custom 2.0 then... Thanks

This is for windows users who haven't got access to a mac.

Follow these instructions if your on 1.1.4 unlocked/jailbroken with ziphone.

1)Download the custom 2.0 firmware from here

2)Make sure your on iTunes 7.7. Put your iPhone into recovery mode and restore to the custom firmware. And your done. Your iPhone will be activated, jailbroken and unlocked now.

You will get Cydia as Installer doesn't work on 2.0 yet.

Thats it. No need to neuter or pwn the iPhone.

I've done this and everything works fine on my iPhone.
