I'm so utterly excited about the Pwnage, but when I try to launch it, it just keeps on bouncing until it freezes in the dock and that's about it...
Does anyone have any ideas?
Have tried rebooting, restoring P-RAM, restoring permissions... That hasn't helped so far.
make sure you are connected to the internet when you open it. If you have some lame 3rd party firewall disable it.
i dont think you have to have an internet connection because my hackintosh has no internet but i was still able to to make my custom restore ipsw and restore. Do you have iTunes 7.7 because when i launched pwnage it said i would need it?

Hmmm, intresting, because I had the same problem, I closed the app, restarted my mac and then plugged the internet across from my xp machine. Assumed it was teh internet connection that made the difference. Maybe it was the restart
I am tried this also - and its the same problem.
I came to post here becuase I beleive the dev team are on this forum.
Guys and Girls, there are a lot of people who want to upgrade and having the same problem.
It seems to be affecting MB's and MBP's
Here are some log issues I was able to extract.

Any ideas or thoughts... would be amazingly apprecaited. I am running 10.5.4 and a MBP 2.5 Intel Core 2 Duo with 4GB SDRAM DDR2

I have downloaded Pwnage tool from 6 Different sources, 3 of them on the official blog, and 1 within my country and twice on other file-sharing sites.
When I launch Pwnage Tool, It shows up in the dock, bounces for a minute
and then freezes; it doesn't say "not responding" and it only quits by force quitting
and there is no blue dot indicator under it.
I tried rebooting, repairing disk permission and I am connected to the internet and it still does not work. I have

I had the same issue, but when I used it on my wife's laptop it worked fine. She has 10.5.3, I have 10.5.4, both have iTunes 7.7. I run a TON more software than she does, so I assume it's a setting or conflicting file somewhere. Try a different Mac if you can.
I use iMac and wife uses Macbook..... Macbook wins!!!

I found the Solution to the Problem i hope it works for you.
1. Launch Activity Monitor
2. Click on Show ALL PROCESSES
3. Launch PwnageTool 2.0 While its Bouncing go to Activity Monitor
4. Find a Process call ps and Quit the process.
As you will quit the Process the Pwnage Tool Should Launch.
