[PwnageTool 2.0] [iPhone 2g] experiencing continuous reboot after upgrade
Hi,
I've just gone through the steps creating a custom ipsw file then restoring through itunes on the mac. Once it finishes i get the pinapple logo on my iphone and it is continually rebooting. (ie i turn it on and it displays the logo for 5-10 seconds and reboots) the only thing i can do it turn it off. I cant put it into DFU mode either
Any thoughts?

If you upgrade to 2.0 on your iPhone BEFORE your run pwnage 2.0, then you have to answer NO to the question about whether your pwned your phone before.
Either START with a pwned 1.1.4 and install the custom firmware OR upgrade to the "Apple" 2.0 iPhone software then answer NO to the "is your phone already pwned"
I think the main confusion here is that people don't realized that upgrading to an Apple-official 2.0 will undo the pwnage applied in 1.1.4.

No I do not think it is the "Cydia Installer" , because i solved my problem with custom ipws downloaded from torrent, and it was have "Cydia Installer" also I think it is important to have OpenSSH on your jailbreacked iPhone

I'm still in the reboot loop as well, tried to revert back to 1.14 using the known instructions and i think i accidently downgraded or erased my baseband in the process.... I can get it to a locked 2.0 state, but any attempts to put a custom 2.0 firmware on it results in a reboot loop... Any suggestions ?

Ok... I just fixed it... Most likely you all had the same problem as me... Bad 3.9 and 4.6 boot files...
Here are the md5sums for the bad and good boot loader roms... Hope this helps.

Well, I'm using the same bootloader files I used for the first Pwnage, why would they be bad now? That makes no sense.
