Original iPhone pwnaged to 2.0.2 -----> updated to 2.1 works?

So guys just posting to confirm that just updating works. Except I am an idiot. I had snapture installed right. So i used Bossprefs to hide camera icon. So of course I forget to un-poof it. So until quickpwn updates I will have to use the ghetto method of using the camera. Unless I install something from the appstore. i dont really know if something is out there on app store tho.

Oh well. For those PWNed on 2.0.2 ( i was) feel free to hit the update button. You will still have signal. If you don't, I bet you used Ziphone once and it is still haunting you.

...Can more people confirm that original Pwnaged iPhone with 2.0.2 software works ALL fine just with updating through iTunes to 2.1?

man quit being a pansy. 11+ people have already confirmed it. Just remember that you won't be able to jailbreak until Pwnage is updated. Also do things like un-Poof hidden apps etc.

Just do it. Trust me when I say anything works better than 2.0.2, where nothing worked right.

Will an pwned phone that has custom startup logos still keep them or will 2.1 replace them with the Apple ones again? I'm guessing I'll lose all my customised stuff like that.

Shame if thats the case....I really dig my custom startup screen :-(

I can confirm this works. Pwned 2.02 to 2.1 thru iTunes 8. Still unlocked lost Installer, Cydia and all apps. I tried to ssh via cyberduck and it was a no go. I do still have my custom carrier logo though. Every thing is working much faster. If you can live without Cydia/Installer, do it. No problems. I am trying to post screenshots but not having much luck.

I accidentally choosed restore istead of update (itunes 8.0) when going from pwned 2.0.2 to 2.1!! :-(

Now my phone are unlocked but not activated so I can actually recieve calls but are not able to get in to the menues.. tried everything to get back to 2.02 (customized firmware, in itunes 7.7.1 etc) but itunes won't let me - error codes.

Do I have chance to make it work again?

All help appreciated

You simply clicked the update button, right? No DFU restore?

Does the T-mobile (US) T-zones hack still remain after the iTunes 8 update to 2.1. I want to go from a pwned 2.0.2 to 2.1 and won't miss Cydia/Installer but will need to keep the T-zones hack to access edge (on my 2g phone).

I can confirm that it remains unlocked after the update all you loose is cydia and installer... also if you get error -19 just click update again and should work.. have done it to 3 phones so far...
