Question [PwnageTool 2.0.2] Custom 2.0.1 smaller than original, why?

Does anybody know why custom firmware 2.0.1 made by PwnageTool is smaller than original Apple firmware (if you don't select cydia on it)?

    has anything been taken out?

    Cheers

This was explained by one of the devs, it's that PwnageTool tries a little harder to compress the IPSW. Expanded the Pwned IPSW is bigger.
