Restore to 1.1.4 and use Pwnage 1.1 to Pwn your phone, then update/restore with the Custom 2.0 ipsw you've created before.

http://www.iclarified.com/tutorials/index.php should have what you are looking for. If it works.. Seems to have quite a lot of traffic atm. I guess that is what you get from publishing the first Pwnage 2.0 tutorial.

you don't need to do that!
I had two phones like that and it went just fine..

Start everything all over live you phone ON and unplugged.
    build your ISPW
when it ask you if this phone has been pwned before answer NO
and than follow instruction on the screen...
I think this is how it goes...
    1. Plug you phone to USB
    2. Turn it off
    3. hold power and home ( there is convenient counter on the screen) for 10 sec.
    4. release power button and keep holding home for 10 sec.
    5.Itunes pop up ..
    6.restore custom image ...

At one point during IPSW build it will ask you if this is legit phone answer NO..

    Good luck

OMG one logical question just pop up….

If I didn’t pwned iPhone (if you guys remember from old version you had to pwned iPhone in order to run unassigned code)
Did they found way around?? or they signing custom firmware … 3G phones are 99.99% are not pwned before do a restore and all you really do is putting it DFU mode.
