iPhone OS 3.0

Hi Magic im in need of your help if its not too much trouble
i recently downgraded my phone to 1.14 using DFU then itunes changed the imei using ziphone 3.0
then like fool upgraded using itunes which
wiped the new imei, so i tried repeating the steps
to downrade back to 1.14 but this time i get stuck on
"restoring iphone firmware" where it stays,
i've waited 45 minutes and it stays there

anyhelp would be appreciated?

Has anyone tried using this hack with any of the beta 3.0 OS's? I hope this hack will work, I'm planning on trying it within the next few days when I get some free time, but I was just curious to see if anyone else had tried it.

I've been using this hack since November, and it works flawlessly. AT&T see's my phone as being a Samsung A747, as that was my old phone before I got the iphone, so I just used the IMEI from that

, and I can use all the features of the iPhone, except Visual Voice mail.

I've been wondering the same thing. I dont mind spending a few hours rolling my phone back to the early version then back up to 2.2.1 then 3.0... I however am not sure if it will retain the IMEI when doing the software updates. Is anyone able to confirm that?

Windows doesn't see my camera after your custom software (2.2.1 or 3.0). Have you experienced this?

what you mean? How possible to windows see you iphone cam? Do you mean, you are using third-party software to able run iphone cam as a web cam on windows? Or you need to expand your problem. By the way custom firmware based on original firmware and what you have is the same when you install original FW.

When I plug the phone in, it tells me it can't load the drivers for the camera. I uninstalled the drivers and even itunes but the problem is still there.

Just to confirm again, Is this method still not working with an iPhone 3G?
Is it ONLY for iPhone 2g?

I saw the upgrade to 3.0 on the blog but it doesn't say if it works for 3G.
Will this ever happen if it is not yet?
