Default [PwnageTool 2.0.1]Building IPSW never finishes

I am running PwnageTool 2.0.1 on a MBP with Leopard. I had the same problem with PwnageTool 1.x though. Right now it doesn't matter that I am trying to pwn my first gen iPhone because I can't even build a custom IPSW.

    Here is my log.

    2008-07-27 10:08:49 - Loaded .ipsw file from '/Users/bryan/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates/iPhone1,1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw'.
    2008-07-27 10:08:49 - Recognized .ipsw file as iPhone1,1_2.0_5A347.
    ------------------------------
    2008-07-27 10:09:12 - Unzipping .ipsw file to /tmp/ipsw.

This is as far as the app has ever gotten on this computer. It will sit here for hours running the cool little animation.

Because the application has always gotten stuck here, I am thinking that the problem must be with my computer's ability to unzip. Is there some manual way to unzip to "/tmp/ipsw" or something? I tried creating the folder manually, but that changed nothing.

While I am sure that a reinstall of OS X would work, that is not a real solution. I ran it on my mom's G4 and it worked, but I need a solution other than using a different computer.

    Thanks in advance!

EDIT: btw, I am not trying to unlock

Its because your system is missing the unzip for command line.

Thanks iffy. I was missing both "zip" and "unzip." Now it sits on zipping forever though.

Any clue how I got to be missing these commands in the first place? What is an easy way to get them back? I've been having my friend with an identical computer send me his haha

Turns out that I just needed to fix the permissions on "zip." I had already fixed them for unzip
