one quick question.
my iphone is in 1.1.4 version, but I am thinking to upgrade to the 2.0.1.
after I do that, can I backup in itunes or I need to start as a new phone?

Did someone get a way to fix this? I'm seeing the same issue myself. I tried going back to 2.0 and restoring as well, but now it says even the backup made with 2.0 is corrupted. Would appreciate any help.

I have read through this and several other threads and have to ask a couple simple questions that I didn't find the answers to. First, will pwnage 2.0.2 work on Mac OSX Tiger or do I need to upgrade to Leapord before I try it. Second, I upgraded my Itunes to 7.7.1 (11) withouth thinking. Will this work with pwnage 2.0.2? Thanks in advance for any help. I am a newbie at Iphone hacking (or any hacking other than the kind that involves a loogie shooting from my mouth).

Syncing your iphone first is ALWAYS recommended......then remove the NEW version 7.7.1.11 and then restart your computer and then download the OLD iTunes 7.7
