while the new Macbook/Pro/Air do have some problems with pwnage and quickpwn there's a "fix": just use a hub, as mentioned on this article at macbug.de. //german site, sorry, but have a look at the pic!

It works and while it's stupid, it's the only way - the faster USB ports are causing the problems.
