Default [Pwnage 2.1] [Solved] Icons in Categories Folder gone after restore

I created a System folder via Categories which included my Settings, Cydia, installer icons. Now after I restored after Pwning all my apps I placed in folders I created using Categories are gone. Can some one please help me recover these apps or is there another way for me to install Categories to correct this?

    Thanks

I forgot to mention that I got into my phone using iphoneinterface.exe and I can see all my apps are still there. Is there a way for me to start an app via the iphoneinterface.exe?

Ok I was able to find a work around for others that experience this problem.

After Pwning with 2.1 I installed categories first before restoring my phone. After restoring my phone it did the same thing with my icon disappearing, but this time I had Categories already installed for me to create a new Systems folder and re-add those icons back.

Good to know that you found a solution. Note that you could also (I believe) have used BossPrefs to make those icons visible again.

So... got found a (long) way to solve the problem....
    Ive got restored my phone,
    jailbreak it,
installed bossprefs and then installed the backup.. -.-

After all I unhide the icons. done.

by the way, i ve tryed to jailbreak first without adding installer and then with,
    but itmakes no diffence.

Just install categories again after restoring the system.
add all icons that went missing, they are visible within
    categories app.

If cydia was within folder and is not visible, install dock app.
then you should be able to open cydia...

This is a simpler solution that worked for me:

Enable Restrictions on your iPhone and then disable them. This restored all the icons that were hidden by Poof / BossPrefs / etc.

    Hope this helps

@sktung, your tip should be a sticky. I think many of us have made the mistake of restoring/updating before removing important apps (like cydia!) from folders. Thank you SO much.
