[Pwnage 2.0]Slow actions when using some apps.

hi.

i upgraded yesterday from 1.1.4 to 2.0 using pwnage tool, everything went smoth but after i realized that some apps or actions take long time specialy when i try to send and email to multiple people it take ages to jump to the contacts list to pick a new sender and scroll to contacts aswell.

any idea.

You are not alone, try searching and you will see.
Some think the 2.0 firmware is buggy, some think it is Cydia, some have resolved it by doing a hard reset, or repwning without Cydia.

I notice quite a bit of slowdown... never thought it could be cydia, but its possible I guess. Thought it was just a 2.0 being buggy. Maybe when installer comes out I will restore and repwn without cydia and see how that works out

It is 2.0 NOT cydia.

2.0 is just slow and laggy and very frustrating!

2.1 can't come quick enough!

Not to do with cydia or pwnage, i had a play with the new 3g model ( locked and jailed)and it is slow as well .

firmware 2.0 has issues. although not officially confirmes by apple, too many legit users also reports heavy probs:

reboot the phone once in a while, that's the only thing that helps...

i repwned my iphone without cydia and the difference is incredible. My phone was sluggish and many applications froze..... but now without cydia it is as fast and smooth as my 1.1.4.

I think it's just the placebo effect of a recent restore.
I NEVER installed Cydia and I still have apps randomly hanging and the iPhone rebooting sometimes.

Yesterday for example I was playing Aurora Feint and it froze, I held Home until it quit and ran it again, same stuff happened three times after two minutes playing.
I rebooted the iPhone and ran the game again and it worked fine.

I don't think Cydia is involved, personally I think not skipping the partition wipe helps a lot more than removing Cydia, in any case the 2.0 firmware is probably the real culprit.
