    yes, just play with the files inside the folder, also get a text editor that handles plist (I don't know which one works in PC, but there are plenty), so you can have proper carrier settings in Setting>Phone. Refer to 1.1.4 for more info about carrier settings, note the file locations are different. Good luck.

    I was having this problem and I solved it by upgrading my Mac to Leopard. It was completely unintentional, I wanted to clean up my system and got Leopard from a friend. Once I fired up Leopard and synced the phone to it, I no longer got that irritating message.

    I have Update the Cydia today and install the "cd de eplus" (yes - Iam in germany) and
    the naggin Itunes Network update is away :-) ... what in the hell? very nice work from sendowski! thanks

    "cd de eplus" - I'm not quite sure what do you mean? Is there any application that fixes this iTunes issue? Pleas help

    I had this message running my Vodafone Uk sim

    Because Vodafone is not the supported carrier in the UK, its also not supported in the carrier.bundle folder.

    After I created my own carrier.bundle for vodafone using the link below the message has stop appearing in itunes.

    Installing the appropriate carrier bundle (o2 Germany in my case) via cydia solved the nag..

    how do you EXACTLY installed the bundle..? I'm a liitel bit scared to edit the files on my own..

    EDIT: Confirmed! It worked just fine. Create your own bundle and then upload it and you're good to go.
