same i use a prepaid plan also.. but my data is t-zones 5.99 unlimited internet.
its ment to work on wap only but there is an install that has been around for the previous firmwares that allow the edge to run through that proxy.

i tried to install that proxy on the beta 1.2 and 2.0 beta 3 fw and it didnt work.

if i have to get a regular data plan because tzones will no longer work, im not saving too much $ using tmobile over att pickyourplan so id just switch over now instead of later.

its also time to pay another months bill so thats why im trying to figure this out now.

Quite a few of us signed up for T-Zones. It's the 5.99 a month plan, but you have to set up a proxy server to use it. If you pay for the higher priced data plan, you don't need the proxy. With firmware 1.1.4 there was a hack that set up the proxy correctly

For T-Zones to work properly the parameters need to be:

Proxy Server: 216.155.165.50
port: 8080

By the way you guys are doing an amazing job! While I would love to have the new software today (who wouldn't?), I think that its incredibly presumptuous and obnoxious of people to be upset because you guys aren't rushing out pwnage 2.0. The Dev Team is doing this for free (and fun) and I for one appreciate all that you guys are doing.

Are you getting any donations to help you out?

EDIT: How is uShow coming along? You would probably get many donations if you released it. And if possible you could sell on the App Store if it is allowed.

internet...on the flex pay and full plains its the $5.99 option just to access tzones

As team we not accept donations anymore as everything is covered and there is no need etc. read the blog. The forum has a own donations pool for pay the server setup and stuff as it has slightly higher traffic rates as you might guess

also does having a pwned (unlocked on tmobile) phone make any difference when you use it with a legit dev cert and do provisioning with xcode? or can you build and deploy just fine?

Is prepaid different than pay-as-you-go?

I cannot get tzone's unlimited $5.99 on the pay-as-you-go.

no. you should be able to get it on any tmobile plan, pay as you go is att isnt it?
