And I'm sorry to say, but I do have a small clue as to what it takes to make a fully polished software product. I also have an extremely good clue as what it takes to beta test and roll out software. It requires users and no matter how much they think they have it perfect, someone is going to find a way to accidentally screw it up.

Since we are all supposed 'hackers' of at least the iPhone, I would hope that we all understand the risks as to what we're doing. We're essentially breaking the software for iPhone, voiding the warranty and do something we're not suppose to do. A polished hacking too is awesome, but I don't understand why not release what you have for those that understand the risks?

Unless you're actually creating the hacks or programs, you're a leecher.

Not denying the leaching part. I already stated that I don't have the know-how to do this on my own. I do understand the risks of beta software. I am confused at your statement though...

but honestly i bet 90% of the "hackers" on this site are 15 yr old kids who don't know the first thing about hacking and just want a free unlock/jailbreak.. i mean its pretty easy to see by all the repeat issues that keep popping up

And that's why Dev Team is waiting. They know that most people here are "incompetent" and likely to mess upp their iPhones. Even though people are applying the hacks on their own risk, the Dev Team will be blamed and flamed if too many "kids" brick their phones in the process.

I hope geohot will end this bad game on tuesday ...
