Default [Pwnage 2.0.1] Restoring after pwnage

I have succesfully pwned my iPhone but I'm finding that the appstore apps are crashing very often on load, and that maybe it would do good to restore. Although I'm seeing that having apps crashing is not uncommon and that there are workarounds (synching, deleting and such), it may be that for any other reason someone would need to restore, so:

Could I make a new custom firmware with no bootneuter (and no cydia also, I don't need it) and restore, and still have an activated & unlocked iPhone? or is the bootneuter mandatory everytime.

I don't want to risk having a crash while flashing if I can avoid it.

    Thanks in advance

Main reason: because all the appstore apps were crashing yesterday, and I had thought that so many installs, crashes and uninstalls could have broken something.
And then maybe to get installer when it's released.
