problem when erasing all content and settings
I have been having a problem with my bookmarks not saving after I restored to a pwned 1.1.4. I did set it up as a new phone btw. Well I wanted to try going to settings- general- reset- reset all settings. Didn't fix my prob. So I decided to try erase all content and settings. I get a spinning wheel saying erasing.. Then it shoots me back to the springboard with all my icons reset. The phone should have rebooted but it didn't. And when I ssh into my phone, the var/mobile/Library is riddled with duplicate directories with the extension ".old".. Example: notes.old, Safari.old, Preferences.old
... So what's going on?

I recently did "Erase all content and settings" and it erased everything on my phone.

iPhone [1.0.2 OTB]Unlocked -->1.1.3 ziphone -->1.1.4 iLiberty -->1.1.4 WinPwn 1.0 -->2.0 WinPwn 2.0 --> WinPwn 2.2 --> Yellowsn0w 2.2

iPhone is the best cellphone I ever used

there are several selections there:
- reset all settings: this does not delete/erase anything
- erase all contents and settings: this will erase contents+settings.

dont get me wrong.. Im not a noob... I know that there are several options to choose from.. and I have used them before without problems but what I am getting at is that the "Erase all content and settings" option is not functioning as it should and Im not sure if its because of Pwnage or not...
Under regular circumstances doing this would do just as it says, erase all contents(music, pictures, movies, etc..) and reset all the network settings and such.. finally it would reset the phone and it would prompt you with the instructions on how to move around your icons.
well it doesnt do it... it does reset the network settings.. but doesnt erase all content... it actually just changes the BDS file tree... all the directories in the var/library/ directory have the ".old" extension... and if you try to do it again it just adds the extension again... ".old.old"... and so on and so on... at that point the phone runs really slow and crashes on just about every app... well I deceided it wasnt worth trying to figure it out and I just made another custom firmware using pwnage just in case the last one was corrupt.. then I restored the phone and all is well... took a couple hours to get my apps back and all my settings back up. But oh well...
