[Problem] how to unlock my iPhone?
i need some help and guidance if possible by some good chap..
i got a first generation iphone 12 months or so ago, and just recently tried updating to 2.01, but i didnt read the directions carefully enough.
i updated my software through itunes, but i didnt realise i had to unplug my iphone... so now im stuck in the emergency call screen...
what are my steps to unlocking it to 2.01?

you mean 2.1? i would use pwnage to create a pwned 2.1 ipsw and and make sure unlocked is clicked, once pwnage tool is done use itunes to restore to to the pwned 2.1 ipsw

You are on a Mac, right. cause the software you downloaded is on a dmg file and that only can be read by Macs. If you are on Windows, check out Quickpwn for win.
