Upgrade to 2.2 from 2.0 - mac - backing up device

notes wont be backed up as you would be needing a third party software for that so that you can convert your notes files into .txt and then send them to you PC apparently you seem to be not the only person suffering from not to be able to back up problem probably so is that your itunes is not updated as well?
