I need the UK region format, but the number of the phone number to have no space between them. does format fix have that?
If you avoid any kind of number formatting (for every Region Format)
SAVE original file:
/System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/PhoneFormats/UIDefaultFormats.phoneformat
for Unformatted substitute with:
RapidShare: Easy Filehosting
and restart.
thank you. I will try that
Hi all! I was wondering if it would be possible to edit the UK region format so that the phone numbers use this layout. I’ve found that the Venezuela format has the correct settings for how I would like the number to appear, but when I input 44 as the country code rather than 58 it defaults to the standard UK settings regardless of the region the phone itself is set to.
The UK region settings I would ideally like on the phone:
Including country code: +44 (xxx) xxx-xxxx
Without country code: 0 (xxx) xxx-xxxx
Simply UK redirected to VE
save original file:
/System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/PhoneFormats/UIDefaultFormats.phoneformat
substitute with:

and restart .
i have a problem with this file...
on the previous iphone (3g 2.2.1 jb) I used the one you gave me and it worked just fine.
on the new iphone (same... 3g 2.2.1 jb) when i replace the file, whenever i go to settings->general->international, or the keypad, it just throws me out on the menu... whats going on?
:O
thank you:rolleyes:
Thanks Frank8! Your last format fix file for Chile worked like a charm!
I'm just having one issue though, the Caller ID fix works wrong, because if I have a cell with number 9323-6622 and another with number 8323-6622 shows that is the same person, and the same happens with (02) 123-4567 and (032) 123-4567. The problem is that landlines have less numbers than cells, so I don't know if there is a general solution for this.
