Is UIPhoneFormats.plist gone on firmware 2.1?

Actual fix for Lebanon is
+961 3 xxx xxx , +961 70 xxx xxx
and
03 xxx xxx , 70 xxx xxx

But you don't get it when +961 is not present in the number
because Lebanon is not supported in Region Format list
and the selected country format rules are used instead.

To select Lebanon use lb_LB in the method discussed in:
http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=53352

It'll be bascially along the lines of:

Im an iphone 2G user on an apple partner Network (Claro_ar.bundle)

I just did some experiments with a friend with a proper, under contract 3G iphone, the solution we found is to store cellphone numbers twice per each contact, for example:

For SMS matching
+54-9-11-8888-8888

For Dialer/Phone matching
11-8888-8888

The most incredible thing, is that my friend called the support line at Claro Argentina and the solution they gave him is to do what I just typed... F#%#ing Bastards

Anyway, can you help me with the phoneformats patching?

According to my local informations Chile is resolved ,
this is my temporary solution for Argentina 54/549 ,
it is as simple as hard to find :

It's not necessary save twice,
you can save numbers indifferently as :
+54-9-11-8888-8888
or
11-8888-8888

but you can not save numbers as
8888-8888
or
11-777-7777
is it a problem ?

Bingo, thanks it works great, I store my numbers like 11-8888-8888 and it matched with and without the international prefix!

This should work also for Movistar Argentina, but Im not sure about Personal Argentina, since the company sends the international code without the 9, for example: +54-11-8888-8888, its obviously incorrect, but thats how they send the cell numbers... :woz:
