Is UIPhoneFormats.plist gone on firmware 2.1?

We have:

Serbia is the simplest case of a locale with only one format

(381 , sp , L ) ---------- Alpha-2 code = sp (should be rs ???)

with an hexadecimal editor go to address 0x06AC

When I change:

to:

or
33 38 31 00 72 73 00 00 C0 56 00 00 ---- 381 rs --

It's same like before gives me 011 XXX X XXX
And I need (011) XXX-XXXX

I have added this to end

EDIT: Sorry I think it works only if it shows +381 (11) XXX-XXXX but when its showing without international prefix for code 011 it shows 011 XXX X XXX pls help...

Everything works great for Serbia except when we are dialing the number for Belgrade (capital of Serbia) which begins with 0111:

011 123 4958

The number is formatted on this way:

011 1 (234) 958

I suppose the problem are rules for some other country which are applied to this number. How we can solve the problem?

In international format everything is cool.

One more thing for Serbia... When try to dial 9863, the number is formatted on this way:

986-3

and should be:

9863

Exact , for Serbia and all other countries not included in list:

Settings > General > International > Region Format > country_list

format modification works only when international prefix is present

otherwise the format of the country you have chosen is used .

but you could modify that country , for example gb (UK) if you like english.

with an hexadecimal editor go to address 0x0244

make also the previous modifications (with sp , not rs)

now both are pointing to your format , one with and one without +381

Now i get it

With modifications for UK, Belgrade numbers work great. They are formated as:

(011) 123-4567

and

+381 (11) 123-4567

When try to type 9863 (4 digits number) it is formated as:

(98) 63

and should be:

9863

or

(063) 986-3

should be

(063) 9863

How can I remove UK number formatings?

Settings > General > International > Region Format > XXXXX

if XXXXX is "english -> UK" you must change the jump of gb

if XXXXX is "Italy" you must change the jump of it


for number length 4 you need a second rule
