[PwnageTool] Is it stable yet?

Hello everybody!
New here, i receive soon my new iPhone, and the Main Topic is: Which Program do i choose?
I am reading here now only about Errors, Crashes, Loop-Shutdown...
It sounds like it is extremely unsafe and dangerous to do that, especially for the problem with the Battery-Life.
I got both, a MacBook and an PC, so there is no restrictions to use.
Why is ZiPhone not as Recommened? I look at YouTube videos and i see there are only successors with the hack progress.
Also the Neuterboot makes me very scared, it looks very very dangerous! =(

Hello and welcome, your title is a little confusing but i will make it easy for you. If you wondering about ziphone just search it, you will see a list of issues that it can cause. As far as the stability of pawnge , it is very stable how ever if you are not comfortable with the idea of custom firmware then there is iplus/iliberty. Just use the serach function in the iphone fourm if you are curios about these tools and more. Have fun and happy hacking.....

... do you realize that ziphone will do something much more dangerous than BootNeuter but... without even warning you in advance? :mad:

bootneuter is a safe program. It's one of the best program given to us by the DEv-team. Lastly, stay away from Ziphone.
If you are not familiar with iphone stuff, I encourage you to read here.
If you are not familar with pwned, then listen to )law( and use iplus/iLiberty. It is safe.

I looked at Youtube a Video Tutorial for Pwnage, it looks really easy to do, but it takes a little time to do that: German YouTube Video
But can a iPhone brick really that easy?
Which Bootloader Version do you recommened? 3.x or 4.x?

Leave your bootloader as is, the most stable will be the one it arrived with, only neutering is necessary, and that need only be done once. It is highly unlikely that an iPhone will brick and the chance is very slim with PWnageTool. Also don't forget that what you see is a minority, only those with issues will post in the forums and thus the impression you get is one of a lot of issues however that is not the case. Oh and the battery life thing is complete rubbish, with any device people get paranoid that a certain program/firmware is causing poor performance however its usually unfounded.

Is that just me or Winpwn development is way too slow??? I´m not complaining about the excellent work done by the guy who ported Pwnage to Windows, but I believe the comunity would be better suited if he released the source code and let other people work on this. Apparently, he is having a hard time working on this. Right now, Winpwn is incomplete, at least. I´m looking forward for the iLiberty+ / Pwnage combo...
