Pwnage Tool and Activation in future updates

Hi,

I am using a iPhone 2G and used Pwnage tool first time for the update to 3.0. Used different solutions before and activated with ziPhone a long time ago. Since then I could simply take a new FW and it stayed unlocked and activated, just had to jailbreak again.

Tried to update to 3.0.1 today and it stayed unlocked but the activation was gone. If I use Pwnage can I not simply update to a new version and it stays activated?

Just run redsn0w and it'll hactivate your phone and it will install Bootneuter to the unlock.

Pwnagetool was not designed for the 3.0.

Thanks for the info. When updating in 2.x versions the activation always stayed there, just the jailbreak was gone. Now the activation is gone as well.
