I have a problem with the iPhone. Using iTunes 8 I can get into the DFU mode, no restore mode or apple logo, cause the whole partitions seemed to be messed up. iTunes and XCODE Organizer detect the iPhone in DFU mode. When I'm trying to restore I get the error 6 or 1600 in iTunes, in Xcode I get "Unrecognized Error"
Any HELP?
I had a problem like that when I was attempting to upgrade to FW 2.1. The way I solved it was to do a plain restore to the original, non-customized 2.0.2. Then, when iTunes and my iTouch were in sync on 2.0.2 I did a plain restore with the non-customized FW 2.1 followed by QuickPwn.
There was a period of panic when the ipod went into the white screen and wouldn't do anything else. What I described that worked for me was just pure desperation - and I got lucky.

I found that site, where you can download all iTunes versions and iPhone firmwares. It was a ftp site. Cant find it anymore... Any help with that?

Have you tried restarting iTunes when you are at the white screen? As per the other 1600/6 thread? But your best bet is to restore to stock 2.1 then quickpwn.
Yep, tried that, still error 6!
So now the iPhone is flickering at boot, it seems as if it is trying to reboot the whole time. white background---> lines ---> black ---> white background (all in less than one second).
Can't restore!
DFU is working, though.

Woah, that doesn't look good.
So which firmware/iTunes are you currently working with? BTW you are not trying to restore etc.. with Xcode running as well are you?
