Hey Volkspost -
Thoughts on your tool's compatibility with the latest version of the Pwnage Tool (v2.0.3) - which just came out today. The Custom Bundle doesn't seem to show up in the Pwnage Tool, despite restarts and/or creating a new bundle and re-inserting into the package contents.
Thanks for any insight you care to provide sir.
Thank you for the good work. If i want to go back to the default setting, its mentioned that we need to remove the custom carrier bundle and the symlink. This thread suggests that there will be old symlink by the name of "old_"where can i find the symlink(exact location please) whihc I've crated with the custome carrier bundle installation ? By the way I'm on first generation iPhone with 2.0.1(restored with pwned custom firmware)
Cause some users are on Apple partner carriers but not on a legit iPhone plan, a carrier bundle for this carrier and a symlink already exists. my solution does not touch both. The carrier buldle names all end *_custom.bundle. In case of the above situation you will find one symlink in that directory named old_* where * stands for the MCC/MNC. What you do then is just delete the symlink * and rename old_* to *. The symlink then will point to the (Apple) original. delete the carrier bundle *_custom.bundle and you are set.
If you created a custom bundle for a non-Apple partner acrrier, two things are created. Again a bundle named *_Custom.bundle plus a symlink * (Where * is your MCC/MNC). In this case you wont have a old_* symlink. Just delete the custom bundle and the symlink, restart and you are set.
Hope that helps
