Hi,
I am not very familiar with all these things, but here is my question. Once I intend to upgrade to 2.0 via iTunes, might there be a problem because I am currently running 1.1.4 with a 3.9FB?
I have a first generation iPhone and used iLiberty to unlock. My concern is that Apple found a way to distinguish a FB from an original bootloader and now causes problems when upgrading to 2,0.
Any comments are appreciated.

I stopped the baseband flash the first time after 15 minutes or so, and been to hell and back in order to restore (DFU with iTunes 7.5 and original 1.1.4 under a different computer). After reading this I tried again and waited over 20 mins and it works!
Thinking that the "up to 2 minutes" warning should be changed. Sometimes this forum isn't there to help us newbies.
In may be of importance to note that since INTERUPTIONS are bad, I would suggest activating airplane mode. No need for a call or sms or email or wifi (wanting to connect) to pop up and even CHANCE at messing you up.
Alright, so, well, of course this is now somewhat an issue for me.
I rebooted the iphone after about 15 minutes of the bootneuter app seemingly doing nothing. (Screen had the please wait 2 minutes.. on it)
Now i can't do much with it.
DFU and attempting restore gives 1600 & 1604 errors...
Is there anything at all i can attempt to save my iPhone?
As much as people hate ZiPhone here, I had a similiar issue. Though I got there by a different means. I used Ziphone patched to downgrade the BB/BL back to old school 1.1.1 I think is what it goes to. This lets you use standard Itunes to shift+restore up to 1.1.4 and then from there you can go about unlocking and upgrading all you like.

I did the same thing. I interrupted bootnueter and could not restore. When I did restore I had no wifi, bluetooth, or cell service. I had to restore to 1.1.4. Then install terminal and BSD using iLiberty. I then used Total Command with plugin to run iunew and ienew. This fixed everything and I was able to unlock 1.1.4.
i actually didnt interrupt the process or anything, bootneuter actually gave me an error, said it couldn't flash (i think?), it rebooted my iphone and it just takes me to the home screen. any idea why this error could be happening? should the iphone not be plugged into my computer?
What does bootneuter actaully do??
I was unlocked with ziphone on 1.1.4, I am now on 2.0 custom firmware and the bootneuter tool ran after restoring to the custom 2.0 firmware.
My iPhone isn't pwned but I was on BL3.9 when flashed.
If I restore to 2.0 through iTunes will my bootloader be back to 4.6??
The reason I'm asking this is because iTunes can officially activate iPhones in UK for any O2 sim card now so seeing as I'm on O2 anyway, I don't need an unlock or activate solution.
Hi. I'm a newbie in this field. I recently used PwnageTool 2.0.1 to unlock my wife's iPhone.
However, I read somewhere on the net that the Bootneuter could brick your iphone. So, when I build the firmware, I deselected Bootneuter. The update to 2.0 was fine and it's running.
But my baseband is 04.04.05.G, and my BL is 3.9. Are these settings OK, and if there any advantage of going to BL 4.6 at all?
