i am stuck with the new os 4 crap every thing is so slo, i have Iphone 3G 8GB , from rogers canada , i connected my phone with itunes and upgraded it , now iam in deep $hit , phone is too slow after pressing home button it take good about of wait , same thing with sms, player ,

i was searching and came across this site , look like iam at the right place , but no idea what to do ...... is there a way to put back older os or hack it , and how to do it

1) Download the 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 firmware for your model: iClarified - iPhone - Where To Download iPhone Firmware Files From
2) Put the phone in DFU mode: iClarified - iPhone - How to Put an iPhone Into DFU Mode
3) Shift-Restore the .ipsw you just downloaded.

You'll get an error at the end of the downgrade process. THIS IS EXPECTED BEHAVIOR. Just click OK, then download and run the Firmware Umbrella (The Firmware Umbrella) and click the "Kick Device Out of Recovery" button, your phone will reboot and you'll be on the older firmware.

thanks you very much , i foolow the instruction and went to dfu mode ... and clicked to restored and i think it pick up the by default loaded ....default firmware file did ask for the 3.1.3 firmware file....

i downloaded 3.1.3 for the iphone 3g put the phone in dfu mode hit the shift and recover (i'm on a windows pc). it finished. i got the error message (1015) but i cant get the phone out of recovery mode. itunes doesn't recognize that the phone is plugged in. neither does the computer. its locked and the only thing on the screen is the itunes logo and the usb. any help getting the phone to work would be great. at this point i don't ever care what os its running

Try using TinyUmbrella to kick the iPhone out of recovery mode The Firmware Umbrella
