hello..

i have a problem on my iphone 3gs which is in 3.1.3 and i want to update it in OS 4.0
is it possible?

i tried f0recast and this is the result...

I need your help to decide things up, because i want to upgrade my iphone 3.1.3 to version iOS 4.0 and im affaid that maybe it will not be unlocked after performing this task..??
i dont want my phone to become useless because its my only phone..



NOTE: im using Windows Machine.. and hav'nt finished downloading macOSX and if i perform this task i want it to be activated already because i dont have a AT&T sim to activate the phone..

Note: my iphone is already jailbroken with ultrasn0w when i first bought it...

We don't support any ih8sn0w software on this forum. That includes f0recast and sn0wbreeze.

did you ever choose make my life easier in Cydia? (or use TinyUmbrella or AutoSHSH to backup your SHSH locally?)

Don't trust f0recast, it can never be 100% accurate. Put your iPhone in DFU and find out for yourself if you have old or new bootrom. PwnageTool 3.1.4 for Mac OS X

If you have old bootrom (and no SHSH), pwnagetool and (if necessary) spirit2pwn is your friend. You seem to know this already as you have posted in the pwnagetool section.

New bootrom, your only chance is that you have saved a SHSH for iOS 4.0 or 4.0.1 in that case use jailbreakme.com

This question has been asked many times before on these forums. We don't need more duplicate threads asking the same questions over and over again.
