Moving from ziphone to pwnage
I 'did it all' with ziphone, including changing my imei. Can I just restore with my new custom pwnage .ipsw, or do I need to erase my baseband first to get my real imei back?
I want to avoid using ziphone if at all possible because I am worried it will mess up my phone like it has for others.

A DFU restore to 1.1.4 followed by pwnage and bootneuter will undo all of that.

So what happens if I didn't do DFU restore after ZiPhone, just ran pwnage and bootneuter? It works and everything, just wondering if there are any downfalls or issues that could crop up later. I did have pwnage update the bootloader back to 4.6 so doesn't that mean my bootloader, baseband, and firmware are all fresh? Basically everything in the phone that can be written to has been?

If you've done those three changes to completion and if you don't have greyed wifi/bluetooth and you haven't had your MAC address changed, then yeah you're good to go and the slate has been wiped clean. Some people have greyed wifi after running his unlocker but than can usually be fixed by swifi as discussed in other threads. And you need to manually undo MAC address thing if it's been changed on you.
