hey guys, ive been looking for an answer but no one has seemed to have posted anything like this.

I accidentally put my phone in DFU mode while trying to unlock my phone at 4.0.2 but got stuck and accidentally upgraded to 4.1 trying to get out of DFU mode (i know I'm an idiot). Anyways, now im following this tutorial to unlock my iPhone 3Gs:

Step 7 says to ignore the password request and install the iOS4jailbreaker.pkg but during the install when the password request for the jailbreaker came up I got confused (im packing because im moving to england tomorrow) and mixed up password windows and accidentally authorised PwnageTool and was a complete idiot and put my password into the jailbreaker thinking it would still work. So essentially i skipped the part where I'm supposed to install the package and let pwnagetool just continue THEN installed the package afterwards.

Now my issue is can i go back into Pwnagetool and retry this process or because I already installed the jailbreaker pkg am I screwed? Is there any way to uninstall the jailbreaker pkg?

Unless you have 4.0.1 or earlier SHSH saved, you won't be able to upgrade to CFW.
If you do, you'll need to restore to 3.1.3 or 4.0.1, use Spirit/jailbreakme to jailbreak, then pwn your NOR, then install CFW.
Note that all of this currently only works with old bootrom phones.
