Jailbroken 2g stuck in recovery mode after water damage
I am a noob here but have been trying to solve my issue for days now. Here is the story. This is an unlocked jail broken 2g 2.2.1
Phone got wet and shut down. Allowed phone to dry out in a bag of rice for 4 days. When i went to turn phone on all i got was the pineapple and itunes would not recognize phone. I was able to get it into recovery mode and now i tunes see the the phone but if i try and restore i get an error 6.
Any thing i can do?
Please help.

Was the iPhone in DFU mode when you tried to restore it? (black screen)

Could you please try DFU mode. You can follow this guide, if you want: [FW 2.x](2G&3G) DFU and recovery mode (getting in and out of)

Are you trying original or custom FW?

Did you get the FW directly from Apple?
