I did not say to unlock the phone with pwnage.
I said simply pwn the phone so it accepts the 2.0 custom firmware.
But you can only pwn the phone with the original pwnagetool.
"pwning" the phone is the process by which the bootloader that controls the firmware accepted is altered so as to accept the custom firmware.
I am not suggesting restoring with a custom 1.1.4 firmware - I am only saying that if he presses the "ipwner" button that the phone will accept the custom 2.0 using only the "restore" button in iTunes without needing DFU.
If you were refering to BootNeuter at 2.0 not being able to unlock the phone then of course it can because it can do it to phones already on 2.0 so it doesn't matter that the baseband is from 2.0.
