Iphone 3G Stuck in Recovery Mode please HELP!!!!
I have an iphone 3g the battery went dead. I plugged in to recharge, when I did the apple sigh appeared. My bad news is i have not did an update/backup since feb i have a lot of information on the phone i dont want to lose. what can be done to get my phone out of revocery mode. I have tried tiny umbrella, irecovery (really didnt know how to use it), and ziphone but nothing has helped. Are there any other solution?

A) You really should consider backing your phone up more frequently than once every 5 months ..... But I'm sure you already know that.
B) Was your phone jailbroken? If so, you may need the same version tool you jailbroke with to complete a tethered boot of the phone.
Without knowing what iOS you are on, whether you were jailbroken, what tool you used to jailbreak, etc., we really have no way of helping. Please let us know. The solution could be as simple as re-running the jailbreak utility you used to jailbreak in the first place, or it could be more involved -- we won't know until we know what the specifics of your device are.
