Unlocked, I don't think so.
Claro, in Brazil is prepearing to launch the IPhone, so, the firmware is accepting it's sim card.Iphone 1.1.2 OTB BL 4.6
I'm using it with TurboSIM in Brazil with TIM.
Loved the solution, hated the customs. My phone was cheaper then the SIM.

No way, the launch date is unknow ....
Trying firmware 2.0 update with Claro sim card, blocked my own iphone 2G.

For the 2G phone, with Geohot permanent unlock for the SIMCARD, you can activate it.

Don't think so, phones will be unlocked online with Itunes only once they are realeased, which won't happen at least until october...
