I haz fail [3.1.4] @ zipping .ipsw file
Trying to create a the custom ipsw file following iclarified. Running 10.6.2 and iTunes 9.0.2. The log file says

2009-11-16 10:48:09 - OK
2009-11-16 10:48:09 - Zipping .ipsw file.
2009-11-16 10:48:09 - FAIL

2009-11-16 10:48:09 - Failed to build custom .ipsw file.
Any idea what's wrong?

Do you have permissions to write to the place you have specified to save the custom ipsw? That is about the only reason I could think it would fail.
